About us
TinyImageKit – tinyimagekit.com
TinyImageKit is a free online suite of image tools built for everyone: designers, small businesses, students, and anyone who needs to compress, resize, crop, or edit images without installing software or handing their files to a third party.
Our mission
We believe image editing should be simple, fast, and private. Too many “free” tools upload your photos to their servers, require signups, or add watermarks. We built TinyImageKit so that all processing runs in your browser. Your images never leave your device. No account, no tracking, no limits on downloads. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.
Why we built this
Image tasks—resizing for a form, compressing for email, removing a background for a product shot—come up all the time. We wanted one place where you could do these quickly, without worrying about privacy or quality. So we built tools that work offline-capable in the browser, support common formats (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC), and produce results you can use right away. We keep adding guides and improvements so the site is not just a set of tools but a real resource for image optimization and editing.
Why use our tools?
- Free to use – No signup, no paywall, no trial limits.
- Privacy-first – Images are processed in your browser; we don’t upload or store them.
- Works everywhere – Desktop and mobile, in any modern browser.
- No watermarks – Download clean results with no branding on your files.
- Real content – We publish guides (e.g. how to compress without losing quality, PNG vs JPG, image optimization for the web) so you can learn while you work.
Tools we offer
Our tools cover the most common image tasks: compress image, resize image, crop image, rotate & flip, remove background, add watermark, convert image format, and our official photo maker for passport and ID photos. Each tool page includes explanations, use cases, and links to related guides.
Content and guides
Beyond the tools, we maintain a growing set of articles: how to compress images without losing quality, best image formats for the web, how to resize for Instagram, image optimization for fast websites, and more. You can find them all on our guides page. We aim for each guide to be genuinely useful—step-by-step, with clear recommendations and links to the right tool.
