HEIC, HEIF — max 10MB
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on iPhones and many newer devices. It saves space compared to JPG, but many websites, email clients, and apps don’t support HEIC. Converting HEIC to JPG lets you use your iPhone photos everywhere—social media, forms, email, or print.
Our HEIC to JPG tool runs entirely in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers; conversion happens on your device. No signup, no watermarks, no file limits beyond a reasonable size for quick processing. Just select your HEIC or HEIF file, choose quality if needed, and download the JPG.
When to use: uploading iPhone photos to a site that only accepts JPG, emailing photos to someone who can’t open HEIC, or preparing images for print or design software that expects JPG. For more format options, use our main convert image tool. To reduce file size after converting, try our compress image tool.
How it works
Select your file using the area above (or drag and drop). Choose any options shown (e.g. output quality for JPG). Click convert; the result is generated in your browser and you can download it immediately. We do not upload or store your images—conversion runs entirely on your device. No account or signup is required.
Recommended workflow: convert first, then use compress image to reduce file size and resize image for final dimensions. This usually gives better quality than heavy compression during conversion alone.
Frequently asked questions
Is this free? Yes. No signup, no watermarks. The tool runs in your browser and we don’t upload or store your images.
Will conversion reduce quality? Converting to JPG can introduce slight loss at lower quality settings; use high quality (e.g. 90%) for important photos. Converting to PNG is lossless. We don’t recompress beyond the conversion you choose.
What file size can I convert? We support files up to a few MB for fast in-browser processing. For very large batches, process in smaller groups.
Can I convert multiple images? Use the tool for one file at a time. For batch conversion or other formats, try our convert image page. To reduce file size after converting, use our compress image tool.
Are my files secure? Yes. Conversion happens in your browser only. Your images never leave your device and we do not store, copy, or transmit them to our servers.
What if my format isn’t listed? This page handles the conversion shown in the title. For other formats (e.g. HEIC, WebP, or bulk conversion), use our main convert image tool or the dedicated converter pages linked in the sitemap.
Quality and trust
This converter is maintained by TinyImageKit and tested with common browser versions before release updates. We keep instructions consistent with current tool behavior and revise copy when conversion defaults or format support changes.
