FAQs

Will converting reduce quality? JPG and WebP use lossy compression, so there can be a small quality loss. PNG is lossless. For photos, JPG at high quality (e.g. 85–90%) usually looks fine.

Can I convert HEIC from iPhone? Yes. Use our HEIC to JPG tool for iPhone photos. Conversion runs in your browser; we don’t store your files.

What's the best format for the web? For photos, JPG or WebP. For logos or images with transparency, PNG. See our best image formats guide for details.
